It takes more than art to be an artisan. It takes hand crafted business solutions.
That's me on the right. On the left is Djeneba, of my business partners and best friends from Senegal: a student, caretaker and farmer. We had just crafted a kite from scraps of fabric donated by a local tailor. Kids were running around laughing so hard and begging to try to fly it.
Sometimes business solutions are drafting proposals, creating marketing strategies or upgrading quality. Sometimes it means flying kites with kids so mom can sell her products at the market. For artisans and small businesses the line between 'life' and 'business' is sometimes nonexistent.
I get that.
Small business solutions are more than just what goes down on paper or into the loan document. They are holistic solutions to work, live and love: organization, balance, drive, focus.
